Forum Using vBulletin v4 with PHP v5.3 Before I ask this question, I have attempted to find an answer and if one does exist I could not find it. So... While I understand that vBulletin 5 has a specification of using PHP v5.3, here is a question of interest. Since vBulletin has admitted that CMS and calendaring will not be available in the initial release of v5, can we get vBulletin v4 to run on PHP v5.3? Sales admitted that there are no official release dates for v5 and that if the calendaring and CMS components are delayed it could be months before migration to v5. I, and I am sure many others as well, have other applications that have been or are in the immediate process of upgrading and now using PHP v5.3. So what can be done to get vBulletin v4 functional with PHP v5.3? It is even possible. In our case, the other application upgrades we need are available now but are being postponed because if this question of vBulletin v4. Any insite and assistance would be greatly appreciated.
