nothing found page after installing vb5

I have installed VB5 . got nothing found page after installation

By searching forums i found some question for question like this

where to upload .htaccess file. there is already a .htaccess file in root directory

1 more thing for using PHP 5.3+ i have addes code in htaccess file (as suggested by hostprovider, there default is 5.2.17)
