Forum Navigation manager strife
 

Having just moved to 4.2, I'm now attempting to use Navigation Manager to properly customise my site's navigations options - removing stuff we just don't use and better grouping the remainder.

I've retained the 'Forum' tab, renaming it 'Discussion' - all good there.

I've created a new tab 'My NSC' under which I intend to group links to 'personal' elements of the site. For this site, I've put 'subscription.php{session.sessionurl_q}' as the URL as I want the users to be taken to their threads. This works fine when I click on 'My NSC' - I am taken to my subscribed threads. However, the focus remains on 'Discussion' and all links displayed are still those from 'Discussion', and I don't see any of my 'My NSC' links, as set up in Navigation Manager, which are:

- My threads - subscription.php{session.sessionurl_q}
- My profile - profile.php?{session.sessionurl}do=editprofile
- My friends - profile.php?{session.sessionurl}do=buddylist

What am I doing wrong? How do I get focus to shift to 'My NSC' in the Nav bar, and for the child links of that tab to display?
