منتدى استراحات زايد - Forum Issues with smilies and position of 'Reply to Thread" button

Okay, I have a couple of issues I was hoping somebody could help me with.

The first has to do with smilies. I use the old vBulletin smilies as I can't stand the new ones. No personality. Anyway, when they are posted as the last thing in a post, they seem to have the bottom line or two of pixels cut off.

However, when there is another line of text underneath them, they display fine.

Any ideas what's causing this and how it can be fixed?

The second issue has to do with the placement of the "Reply to Thread" button at the bottom of each page of a thread. When I was on 4.1.0 the button was aligned neatly at the left hand side just below the last post on the page. However, since upgrading to 4.1.12 it is now positioned one line further down, as if it has been displaced one line by the "Moderation Tools" drop down menu on the right.

How do I alter this code so that the "Reply to Thread" button is flush against the bottom left of the last post on the page?
