Forum Banning without announcing it to the universe?
 

Hi -

Is it possible to ban a user (with all the bells and whistles that an official ban brings like setting a cookie on their machine, or whatever it does) ... without it saying "BANNED" under the username?

Not sure why this was selected as default behavior, as it would sometimes stir up dissention if someone is banned and they have friends on the board still ...

How can I officially ban without that title showing... ?

I think I found it:

Users > Username > User Title > Replace Banned with other words
Custom User Title > Yes, admin set
