Database conversion from ISO-8859-1 (vB3) to UTF-8 (vB5)
 

Hello.

I am struggling with a bad design decision we made while installing vB3 way back when. Instead of going with UTF-8 we used the server standard ISO-8859-1 (latin1).

Since then we have moved servers and done various upgrades, but we are still stuck with latin1. I noticed that in the “upgrade” section of vBulletin 5 Connect is says “Convert your database with easy-to-use tool” Will this also do a charset conversion?

I really hope so.
