Forum Lodging a vBulletin 4.2 complaint...
 

Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I can't find any better.

Let me first say that I have been with vBulletin a long time and have built up a community that has come to depend upon its quality.

I don't know what bozo's were working on the images upload box this last round but it has been stripped down so badly and works so poorly that I am seriously considering porting everything over to phpBB or something that will not spring these gawdawful surprises on its end-users.

Did you guys ever hear the phrase *If it ain't broke don't fix it*?
Well the images upload box worked just fine...and now it's a piece of broken garbage.
Sure we can tweak things around with a lot of effort to manage to make things work, but the life has completely gone out of this utility and its functionality - at best - is gravely disappointing.

My people love images and I deal with some of the coolest artists I've ever run across.
Nobody is happy with this new box...not one.
I know what my options are so don't get all smug on me and tell me I can go somewhere else.
Of course I can - and if I have to I will...but vBulletin would be wise to admit this failure and produce a fix to return it to its former perfection.
