Forum Content Encoding Error Hello, Today's morning one of the moderators contacted me regarding that he's not able access the forum and getting this error: Content Encoding Error. (In fact, I've received about 5,200 Database Error messages to my email) I was able to overcome this issue by executing this query: truncate session; I understood from a quick search in Google that this problem was caused because of gzipping the content twice. In fact, I have the following in my .htaccess file: Code: # compress text, html, javascript, css, xml AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE text/plain AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE text/html AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE text/xml AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE text/css AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE application/xml AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE application/xhtml+xml AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE application/rss+xml AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE application/javascript AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE application/x-javascript And I have a value of 7200 in the cookies time setting in the admincp. Now, the forum is running normally. What should I do to ensure that this will not happen again in the near future? (when the session table is full again) Note: This forum is big and I need the gzip function and won't disable it. |
