Forum Spam: How to prune users by email address
 

Seem to have 508 accounts on one forum and christ knows how many of the same on the other cross-promoted forums, all spammers, all using @new-purse.com email addresses.

How can I prune via email address? Is there a way?

They seem to have different IP's (probably masked) so glowhost aint picking them all up off one.

I did this by logging in phpMyAdmin and running the following query.

UPDATE user
SET usergroupid = 149
WHERE email LIKE '%@new-purse.com%'

Bit of a work-around but stops them in their tracks at least.
