Latin Written Accents Problems
 

Hello all,

I'm writting this post because it's been one month since I put these problems into tracker and I've had no answer yet. The issues are still 'unconfirmed' and 'unassigned'.

All the problems come from latin written accents.

Problem 1: In both applications when quoting, "(null)" text appears if there is any written accent on quoted text.

This text has a written accent in "estara" and when quoting (null) appears.


Problem 2: In iPhone app, showpost doesn't show post with latin written accents.

Lu and Danielinho182 posts are not showing.


This make my applications completetly useless and leave my forum less readable because of "(null)" quoted text.

Is there any way to fix it on server? (maybe a str_replace of accents before sending json object)
Is there any way that my issues were taken into account in tracker?

Any help will be welcome.
