User Registration Implement checkdnsrr please vote for this in future releases of vBulletin VBIV-15495 Implement checkdnsrr function is easy on standard PHP 4 & 5 Versions, and feel that vbulletin should implement the same rule during registration checkdnsrr is designed to check the domain for 'A','MX' records so if someone puts a fake email address in then the registration will be denied, yes we have the option to moderate user registration and validate email after registratrion, giving mods and admins soething to do, but checkdnsrr can reduce forum maintenance and help prevent spammer registrations |
