A large number of injuries was reported when Bahrain regime forces used various arms to crackdown on freedoms of expression and assembly on Friday, when people marched in Daih to mourn the death of a 23 year old, Mohammed Mushaima. Mushaima died in police custody on 2nd October, after he was denied necessary medical treatment. He was arrested from a health centre in April 2011. Mushaima was falsely accused and subjected to torture in prison.
The forces used Birdshot and toxic tear gas excessively. A number of citizens were arrested and beaten by the forces.
Police checkpoints and roadblocks were set and forces were spread on main streets, in huge numbers, in order to prevent protests. Armored vehicles, troop carriers and special forces were on streets too.

People took to streets around Bahrain on Friday to condemn the killing of the two martyrs, Ali Ni'ma,17 and Mohammed Mushaima, and demand all killers be brought to justice. However, they were confronted with excessive force and 16 areas were reported to have been attacked. The forces raided villages and subjected neighborhoods to collective punishment through the excessive use of toxic gases.
Areas of protests on Friday: Daih, JidHafs, Sanabis, BiladQadeem, Nabih-Salih, Hamala, Karbabad, Miqsha, Magaba, Duraz, Karranah, Dair, Ekr, Ma'ameer and Sitra.
A number of citizens suffered injuries and asphyxia and were taken to hospitals. While others were treated in houses that were turned into underground treatment rooms. Citizens who sustain injuries in protests are afraid to visit hospitals because they are under military control and can be used to identify and arrest protesters. In fact, hospitals in Bahrain are not to receive such cases without official permission.

A citizen was tortured by the regime forces who threw him over a fence and stabbed him in the leg and other parts of his body.
