Forum Site blocked due to spam from cron.php
 

<div>Our site was blocked due to messages being sent out by cron.php. The web host's solution was to delete that file (which I do not believe we can do and have VB work to send out notifications to members.
I am going to post what they wrote me about possible reasons we were blocked. I would appreciate any suggestions for fixes and/or workarounds for this.
