Forum 'Permission Groups'
 

On my website I have made several Usergroups. Basically I want to make certain members' names/id's appear in certain colour and other in other colours, according to the user groups i have set up in site admin. In the attached photo you will see the different user groups in different colours:

Now, when I allot a member's id to a specific user group in site admin, and when that member logs in, his id appears in the same colour as that specific user group. I have 2 questions:

1. Where a normal member's id appears in Blue, correctly, as the normal Member user group is in blue, the issue is that that member's id appears next to 'Staff Member'. This should appear next to 'Member' - but 'Member' is not on my website - how do I make 'Member' visible so it appears under 'Staff Member'?

2. Now, if a normal member logs in and goes to his Settings > Permission Groups, he will see on my website the attached image which shows the publicly available user groups I have set up in site admin: UG2.jpg

Say this normal member joins the user group 'Professional Members', this member's id still appears in the normal members' blue colour user group - shouldn't this member's id now appear in the purple colour of the 'Professional Members' user group?

3. Or, do you have to manually allocate members to various user groups?

4. Why is there no 'Permission Groups' option or user groups on this website taking into account that this is a main vBulletin forum?
