Forum Any $ Troubleshooters $ Out there?
 

Hi Folks

Just wondering if there are any testers out there that might be able to help with the following problem?

When I had my forum installed and customized, it worked just fine. Recently though, I've been unable to access the forum Admin CP. I just get the page not found error even though all files and folders are in place.

The forum is located in the root of the main site which is built on the WordPress platform. I'm thinking that either a WordPress or a forum update has caused a conflict at some point, but can't be sure. All I know is that one day all's well, and the next it's not. I also think the problem will be easy to identify for someone who's good at spotting these things.

However, I don't think the solution is necessarily an simple one. The reason I say this is because the guy that installed and customized my forum is very tech savvy and knows vBulletin very well indeed, yet even he couldn't find a resolve.

He thinks the issue might be a line of code in an .htaccess file located in the pulic.html but if he attempts to remove or change it, then things break on the WordPress part of the site. In other words, it's the balloon effect.

Btw, apart from not having access to the forum admin CP, all other forum functionality is working just fine.
