some members have to log in every visit
 

have just upgraded to 3.8.2 and whilst doing that sorted out other problems - database has been renamed for clarity

some members now tell me that everytime they visit the board they have to log in - others do not

we have suggested clearing cookies and all cache - also 'just in case it matters' deleting any favourites they have saved and starting again

this seems to have worked for some but not all

it seems as though either a cookie is not being saved or is being deleted at shutdown

i have looked at settings and cannot see anything - if there is one has to be a member setting via usercp i would guess - but i cannot see any

am i missing something
