Forum Error Handling and Logging file names
 

Quick question.

The instructions say "The file will be saved as {filename}.log"

I wanted to set up error logging and to test to make sure I had the permissions right I set Log Emails to a File as (path)/email.log and Log Failed Admin Control Panel Logins to a File as (path)/access-fail.log.

vB wrote the email file as email.log, but the Failed AdminCP Logins went to access-fail.log.log (appending an extra .log).

Those are the two I can easily test. So are the others going to automatically add .log on the end or not? Which is it designed to do?
