Forum Deleting Users - GUEST
 

User contacted me requesting her account be deleted. Because her username is showing up all over the internet now after Google spidered our forums.

So obviously the goal is to delete her posts and username so its not associated with our site (which is on a sensitive topic like hair loss)

I went to the user in the ACP .... chose "Delete User" ....

For some strange reason vBulletin left all her post....

Left her username too....

Simply added the word "Guest".

Exactly how is that "deleting" her ????

The user wants their account deleted. Gone. That means no longer there.

They dont want all their posts left there, with their username still fully indexable by Google .... and the word "guest" tagged on their posts.

Frustrating.

How do I delete this user?
