Forum Enable External Javascript
 

NooB question: Under the External Data Provider section in the AdminCP there is a setting called "Enable External Javascript." Which is described as: "This setting allows you to enable/disable the Javascript content syndication system that allows you to embed vBulletin data in HTML pages."

I understand RSS syndication, but not sure what this "Javascript content syndication" is or how it is used. Could someone explain this setting and what it does/how it works, or point me to a good tutorial? Thanks.
