vBulletin Licenses Transfer Not Allowed?

According to a tip in my inbox a member recently tried to transfer their license to another user only to be rejected. After some further prodding and digging by this member it appears as if all vBulletin license transfers are now going to be revoked. Well, I’ve done some digging and found a rather confusing post from a vBulletin staff member Wayne Luke stating basically they used to allow one transfer, and now they allow none.


Unless of course you live in the E.U. due to a recent court case filed over there (not against vBulletin/Internet Brands) which outlaws this practice. And of course then you’re going to have to fork over $45 to get that transfer complete.


I’m working on getting some official replies from vBulletin staff, but it appears as if this is the end for second hand vBulletin license transfers.
