Upholding the military verdicts shows no difference between civil and military courts
AlWefaq SG: We will not calm down as long as prisoners of conscience are behind bars
Al-Wefaq Secretary-General: "Verdicts against the political figures makes the people of Bahrain more insistent to continue their revolution"

Al-Wefaq Secretary General, Shaikh Ali Salman, said that "upholding verdicts of life sentences today against political figures are a life-sentence for the revolution to continue".
He stressed that these verdicts are "political persecution, travesty of justice and a black day for the justice in Bahrain".
He also emphasized that "upholding the verdicts means that there is no difference between civil courts and military courts. Such unjust verdicts make the people more insistent to go on with the revolution till the end".
"As long as AbdulWahab Hussain, Hassan Mushaima, Ebrahim Shareef and the rest of our detained brothers are still behind bars, the political crisis is ongoing.", he tweeted. "We will not calm down while the political figures are still in detention."
Salman described the politicized verdicts as "stocks in a stock exchange; where they go up and down with nothing to do with respect to the humanity". He called for a peaceful solidarity with the political figures by all possible peaceful means.
He stated that "for justice to take place, all the political hostages held by the regime must be set free". He added "upholding the verdicts against the political figures which were, already, issued by the military courts, means that the regime did not read Bassiouni's Report at all and has no intention to implement its recommendations".
Salman stressed that "the regime train is heading back to the darkness of the Middle-Ages while the people's train is heading to modernity and democracy". He wondered "Time machine is not invented to go backwards. Democracy is coming to Bahrain. Storms or obstacles will not change our steady pro-democracy direction".
"The revolution compass always indicates to the direction of freedom and democracy", he tweeted.
He added "Our goal is clear. We demand to get back our right of electing a government which democratically represents us and we will go on with our revolution until we get back this right".
