Forum Difference between parent and child style!
 

Okay, I've been using VB for years and years. And it only just dawned on me now that I really have no idea why I would use a child style instead of creating a brand new one.

Can anyone explain the benefit to creating a child style over creating a style with no parent? Is there even a benefit? I'm just about to restyle the forums from top to bottom and was going to use a fresh style. But if there's a good reason to use a child style, I'd rather know it now! :)
