Help Turning Off All Auto-Notifications and Responders
 

Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me out...

My hosting account was suspended this morning due to my forum members logging complaints of spam coming from the website.

When I contacted my hosting company and explained to them that I do not even email my members, I was told that these emails are most likely automated emails coming from my forum, such as post update subscription notifications.

My account was turned back on, and I have since been trying to turn off all automatic emails to my forum members.

So far, the only thing I've been successful in finding, is the "Automatic Thread Subscription Mode" in Default Registration Options under User Registration Options. I've changed that setting to "subscribe with no notification."

I understand that new forum members will no longer be getting automatically subscribed to email notifications. However, how do I ensure that none of my existing members receive automatic email notifications?

Is there some counter I can update in Maintenance that will apply this setting to all existing members?

Additionally, if anyone can think of any other automatic notifications that are sent out by vBulletin, and let me know how to turn those off as well, that would be very much appreciated.
