The U.S deputy chief of mission in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain Stephanie Williams visited the policemen who were receiving treatment in Salmaniya hospital after being exposed to burns as a result of the assaults committed by saboteurs who attacked them with flammable glass bottles (Motolov) whilst they were trying to perform their duties.
She expressed her regrets for the targeting of the policemen and taking their lives at risk of while carrying out their duties to protect citizens and residents and to secure roads, and she wishes them a speedy recovery.
Stephanie Williams, It is great to know that you are somewhat aware that something is happening in Bahrain, but why is it that you only see what you have been programmed to see? Are you not aware of the brutal crackdown and constant use of tear gas against peaceful protesters who have done nothing apart from demanding their rights as humans and defended themselves against violence act. Are you not aware that over 80 people have been killed since Feb 14? Why have you not visited their families to pay your condolence to them? Why have you not visited the prisoners? Why have you not expressed any regret towards those severely injured as a result of the brutal crackdown in attempt to silence the Bahraini nation, caused by who? By the policemen that were supposed to "protecting the civilians and residents"! By those riot police, those mercenaries that you took the time to visit! What about the others? What about the children? The women? The elderly?!!!
