Hi, Heres the scenario: I imported my phpBB forum ~ 3 days ago to my vB, ran into a few little things here and there but finally got it all ironed out and displaying everything the way I wanted to. Afterwards, I moved a few of the forums around into categories cuz they got a little screwed up during the transition, this is of course after I finished the entire import (including threads). It took about 3 days to get everything the way I wanted it to be before officially launching the forum, but during those 3 days, some players posted things in certain sections that obviously aren't on my forum.. so my question is: If I import the threads again, is it going to cause all sorts of crazy errors and problems because of the fact that I moved some of the forums around, or will it simply fail to import? or will it work actually? There aren't MANY posts, but there are a select few that I'd like to get back and was hoping the option to import them a second time (just threads) is available... However I am now on an official launch board and afraid of doing this in the event that it does anything bad. Obviously I back up the .sql before I even consider a second import, so I could just re-execute it if it breaks, but I'd like to avoid any downtime. Any ideas on this? __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__ |
