There are still small bugs within the CMS that prevent comments from showing properly, article edits from appear in the article preview, etc. All of these can be cleaned up temporarily by clearing the CMS Cache.
We all know the benefits of the cache but the problems it is causing are a bit painful. So, I have considered setting a cron to clear the cache on a regular basis. What I am trying to determine is, what frequency is needed and what impact it will have.
I think at a minimum, clearing it every 2 hours on our busy CMS is a must. More aggressively, I have also thought about every 15 minutes but am concerned about the performance impact on our site and server.
I would appreciate an official response and although I am not holding my breath, hope to get one.
