This is going to sound wayyyyyy out there, but I've an issue.
My host limits MySQL "max_questions" (this is total queries per hour) to 75,000. That's not a big deal once I get past the import, but for the import it's quite a large database and it will error-out well before the completion.
So here's my work-around... I'm creating multiple database users and all will have a fresh 75,000 queries. I want to randomly select a user to connect to the database at any given time so any single user will not burn up all queries. Tracking what I'm saying?
Now my question is, how many times does the Impex call the config file? I can randomize the users in that if it calls the config file several times. If the config file is only called once, then how many times does the application connect to the DB because I can randomize the user before the connection.
I would figure all this out myself, but I haven't attempted any imports yet and with a database this size it may take a while via trial-and-error.
Seems crude? Of course. I only import just one time (several if you count demo runs) so it's worth it.
