We are already running vBulletin in one webserver + one database server. We now need to use two web servers but how would be the better way to do so? One idea is to just have the exact two web servers, the same content and do load balancing between them (for example round robin dns). The thing is... What content do we need to update between each server? Avatars and what more? Other idea is two just use a CDN for css, images, etc. A solution like Cloudlayer CDN Origin Pull or Simplecdn Mirror bucket they get the content from the HTTP origin (don't need to offload content with FTP's or similar methods). But how can we do such a thing? I mean, where should we change the path of all that content in vBulletin? In theory to work with this the files should be saved in the same URL. so we need to say to vBulletin that files has to be saved in the same path as always but the pages generated by vBulletin should show a different and external URL, the CDN one that might be for example cdn.com/mydomain/images/...). Any ideas? __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__ |
