My site is mainly a community what's on site and the various event calendars accounts for about 90% of page views, currently I have links to them in the left column of my live site (using vbAdvanced CMS) - see here: http://doctorwatson.info/vb_index.php What I can't work out is how to do that in vb CMS, what I ideally want is to create a 'What's On Listings' section with articles and then the various calendars as sub-sections, i.e.: SECTION: What's On Listings SUB-SECTIONS: Cinema / Films Theatres & Venues Car Boot Sales etc., etc. - but when you click on those sub-sections the calendars are displayed as part of a CMS page, showing a week to view and with the left hand column of links still displaying. What I don't want is those links taking people away from the CMS and displaying the calendars as part of the forum, with the forum link in site nav bar highlighted, which happens with the links I've posted as an 'article' at the top of my test homepage - here: http://test.doctorwatson.info/content.php I've spent hours looking for an answer both on here and vb.org, but to no avail. *cries* Is this something that can be done within the default vBulletin software or do I need to ask over on vb.org? __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__ |
