| I am in a pickle.... I have been happily using vB 3.8.4 (and vB generally) for 3 years - I have a small, non-profit making forum. Before Xmas I decided it would be nice to have the CMS and paid for the full suite. Since installing/upgrading to vB 4.x I have had nothing but problems & frankly I would rather revert to Joomla and another piece of forum software. This was mainly caused by me receiving constant 'database errors' which have been identified as being caused by settings which I cannot resolve unless I move to a dedicated server - something I am not prepared to do. My issue is this : I have a backup of my sql database with 3000 posts, 650 members and all I want to do is do a fresh install of 4.02 - and import these posts... I keep getting a message when I upgrade referring to a script to do with vB 3.6... Is there anyone out there who can just tell me how to get me back to square one - so that I can get rid of this vBulletin 'nightmare' - it seems that it has got far to complicated for me - all I wanted was a CMS and forum that worked - without me having to pay for it - a dedicated server - and hours of researching and submitting tickets....
