I have a small private vB4.01 suite system and the registrations are 100% moderated. I want to create a Saturday golf game group, viewable to all members and for the admin to add the selected members. I would like to notify by email all the members of this new group when there are posts to a particular blog and a Saturday golf group calendar. With so little being written about social groups my searching thru admin CP and the manual doesn't yield much. All I can find is that members have to be invited to join the group. Can the admin put them in? Would it be better to use User groups for this purpose? Where can I get more info? By the way my system is humming right along! I like it alot.
