I was taking a look at the source and noticed we still have a ton of small JS and CSS files loading. Do we really need ten 1k Javascript files loading up on the showthread pages? I was hoping the default style would take advantage of the yuiloader and grab all of those files in one request.
On the plus side* I love that the source is now human-readable. This will make development a lot simpler. I have the hardest time identifying problems in the current minimized format.
UPDATE: Use YSlow on the forum homepage and look at the net tab to see how it's loading. I'm getting an average of 8 seconds to load the homepage and over half of that is those css/javascript calls. If we cut those in half* I bet the page would load in 4 seconds or faster.
