| I have ended up with many usergroups and ranks which I would like to find out if there is a way I can clean them up. I have a group of many staff members that I wanted to give each one a picture under their username on their posts saying what their role is but to achieve it I found I had to create a separate Usergroup and then a separate Rank for every one of them so I know have 30 Usergroups and Ranks each with just one user in each of them. What I am after is the following to be displayed in their posts: Username - using the Usergroup mark up I have coloured their username to show that they are a staff member. Title - I have set it that a staff member can set what ever title they would like for example their nic name Staff Title - an image that shows our site logo and their staff title like Photo Gallery Mgr or Calendar Mgr or Equip Reviewer - each staff member naturally has a different image Rank - the normal registered user rank based on posts made Avatar - the normal user selected avatar etc To get the Staff Title image to be displayed I have had to create a separate Usergroup for each member, a Rank with the Staff Title image associated with it for each member and then in the User settings assign each of the staff users a Primary Usergroup of Registered Users and their Secondary Usergroup being the staff usergroup. I then set the Display Group to their secondary usergroup to have their staff title image to show up. All very messy and a management nightmare especially when they all have the same permissions except in some cases they moderate different forums or sections of the site. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how I can clean all this up and still achieve what I am after? - thanks! __DEFINE_LIKE_SHARE__  |
