Houses in Bahrain Showered with Lethal Gasses
Regime's Crackdown Goes On, Another Elderly is Killed

17th Oct 2012
An elderly man has been killed after the regime forces excessively threw and fired lethal tear gas into houses and neighborhoods. This usual deliberate targeting of houses make it impossible for households to breath, causing death in many incidents. A number of children have died this way.
The martyr has passed away after he was admitted at hospital for inhaling lethal tear gas thrown in neighborhoods within the regime's collective punishment policy to punish citizens for their opinions and stances.

Details indicate that the martyr Marhoun has previously suffered asphyxia and been admitted to hospital due to inhaling lethal tear gas fired near his house located in the middle of Ma'ameer village. Issa Mohammed, another martyr from Ma'ameer, has passed away some months ago the same way.

The village of Ma'ameer was rained with lethal teargas fired randomly inside neighborhoods. The martyr's house is located near the police point, from which they fire from towards houses in the village.

According to his family, Marhoun suffered severe asphyxia with vomiting when tear gas canisters were thrown at his bedroom window, a few months ago, during Ramadan. He was taken to hospital every time his health condition relapsed.
His condition then deteriorated seriously, he was unable to speak or open his eyes, with a great breathing difficulty. His sugar level soon went high, and doctors said at first that he suffers from great inflammation in the chest, and after that, they said that Mahdi is suffering from dangerous and infectious bacteria and he moved to a private room. His family notices swelling developments in his thighs and hands after he was admitted to hospital.
In a video footage published just a few days ago, the regime forces clearly attempt to kill households by firing directly at windows in Nuwaidrat, a village close to the martyr's (Ma'ameer).
