Women and Children Attacked amidst Crackdown on 50 Areas

More than 50 areas were attacked during Thursday and Friday by Bahrain regime forces. The forces spread on streets and besieged the areas subjecting them to collective punishment. Houses were raided and citizens were chased by the forces which opened fire to stop any demonstrations for democratic transition.
The peaceful protests go on as the revolution in Bahrain enters its twentieth month, however, the regime continues to crackdown on protests.
On Friday, more than 19 areas were suppressed by the forces, many citizens were injured and more than 24 have been arrested. A house was also raided amidst the wide security crackdown against citizens.
Birdshot and toxic tear gas were widely used to terrorize citizens even in their homes, and cause as many injuries as possible.
The forces also arrested and brutally beat a number of citizens in the Capital Manama after a peaceful protest was held there demanding democracy. The protest in Manama was harshly suppressed. One girl was arbitrarily arrested for carrying the Bahraini flag and the protesters were rained with toxic tear gas causing asphyxiation between. The forces also chased protesters and beat them.
Women in the protest, including one in her fifties, were pepper sprayed by the forces. One girl was severely beaten by female regime forces.
Protests took place in the following areas on Friday: Manama, Hura, Miqsha, AbuSaiba, Karranah, JidHafs, Karbbad, Eker, Sanad, Saddad, Duraz, Ras Roman, Tubli, Malkiya, Dar-Kulaib, Shahrakan, Slamabad, Buri and Sitra.
Houses were rained with toxic teargas and one building was affected by the attacks in AbuSaiba.
On Thursday, more than 31 areas were subjected to the forces suppression and terror within the regime's policy of collective punishment on areas that witness protests in demand for democracy.
Five citizens were injured and two were arrested. Two houses were raided as well.
Protests took place in the following areas on Thursday: Adhari, Shahrakan, Bilad-Qadeem, Malkiya, Daih, Miqsha, Muharaq, Sehla, Magaba, Nabih Saleh, Aali, Naeem, Mahouz, Manama, Karranah, JidHafs, Karbbad, Eker, Sanad, Duraz, Tubli, Dar-Kulaib, Shahrakan, Slamabad, Buri, Barbar, Nuwaidrat, Ma'ameer and Sitra.
The forces raided a house in Eker without a legal warrant. A number of protests were held to condemn official threats to Sheikh Issa Qassim, a prominent religious figure.
A child was arrested and severely beaten in Bilad Qadeem. The forces also arrested a brother of the martyr Salah Abbas who was tortured and killed by the forces. The martyr's brother was arrested from his house and is kept as a hostage until his other brother gives himself in.

Another child was arrested in Duraz when he was sitting with his father on their doorstep, without giving any reasons or showing legal warrants. The child was taken to a police point and inhumanly beaten that he was bleeding.
Two houses were raided in the same area and 3 children were arrested and beaten. A woman was attacked during an illegal house raid when she tried to prevent the forces from going upstairs, she was pushed to the wall and a little girl in the house was kicked and slapped on the face. The forces stole a mobile phone from the house after they had vandalized its property.
