Forum Who's Online - Google Spiders - Individual Message Problem - viewfull
 

When viewing Who's Online* I often notice that Google spiders are often getting an error message when trying to access the url for an individual post in a thread (post #1* post #2* etc.). The true url will be something like:

http://www.[our domain].com/threads/28469-This-Is-a-Post?p=64728&viewfull=1#post64728
In Who's Online* the url with the error is chopped off after "viewfull=1" so that the "#post64728 is not part of the url that Google is attempted to spider and thus the error message.

FYI* we are using the stock .htaccess file provided in the vb 4.0 zip file.

Is anyone else having this problem? -- Rik
